Small digital console with flying faders plus iPad control

Studiomaster has just launched the digiLiVE 16, a compact digital audio mixer that employs a hybrid concept combining the advantages of hardware/touchscreen control surface and remote tablet operation.

digiLiVE 16 is a 16 input/16 bus/8 output mixer with a control surface integrating a 7-inch Android-driven high-resolution touchscreen and eight motorized 100 mm fader operation alongside fully remote (iOS and Android) tablet operation. AD/DA conversion is 24 bit/192 kHz,

The 16 inputs include 12 mic input channels, and there are up to eight internal effects buses with reverb, delay, 15-band EQ and modulation. The eight “smart” XLR analog outputs are assignable. Outputs also include digital AES/EBU ands SPDIF.

Two USB interfaces are included (front and rear panel) supporting playback and recording, scene storage and system updating. WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity are supported.

The anticipated price point for the new digiLiVE 16 is expected to be below US$1,200/£1,000/€1,500


First limited shipment to the USA is due June 20, 2016.  List price for the DigiLive 16 fluing fader digital mixer will be - $1,248.75 with an expected street price of $999.  Bodymics will receive the entire first shipment and there are still a few that haven't been pre-ordered.  Bodymics are offering a pre-order price of $850 on the remaining units.  Contact them on 908-899-1277.

​The DigiLive 16R is a rackmount/stagebox 16 channel digital mixer that id completely controlled via iPad.  List price is $673.75 with a street price of $539.  The last two of these that have not been pre-sold will be available from Bodymics for $450.00 if pre-ordered before stock arrives in June.
